CranioSacral Therapy
There is a movement in the body called the cranio sacral rhythm completely separate from the breath and heart rate. With light pressure, this rhythm is found anywhere in the body. Using a gentle, healing touch, the therapist's hands "meld" with the client to:
-
create deep relaxation
-
manage chronic pain
-
relieve headaches and migraines
-
treat the fascial system
-
regain a healthy cranio sacral rhythm

Fascial Release
Fascia is the connective tissue that is present throughout the body: a superficial layer just below the skin, and a deep layer that flows down throughout the muscles, and surrounds and protects all of the internal organs. This type of massage relaxes and lengthens this tissue to regain flexibility and treat chronic pain. Sustained pressure is applied to help soothe symptoms of:
-
fibromyalgia
-
headaches
-
back pain
-
ilio-tibial band friction syndrome
-
tendonitis

Massage Cupping
Massage cups provide decompression of tight tissues, encourages blood flow, and sedates the nervous system. Rather than applying pressure to the muscles, suction from the cups lifts skin and fascia to allow nutrients to flow upward, revitalizing the system. The cups may be moved around, or left in place depending on your individual treatment.
Works well for back and neck pain, stress relief, fatigue, stiff muscles or fascia, anxiety, and headaches.

Gua Sha
A healing technique from China, Gua Sha practitioners gently scrape the skin to increase blood circulation to the area being worked. The redness that may occur is a sign that your body is sending more blood to that area for healing of the tissue. It may also help with lymph stagnation, pain relief, muscle relaxation, decreased inflammation, and reduced stress.

Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
Known for their versatility and mineral content, Himalayan Salt offers overall wellness to the body. Using gently warmed stones, this treatment is great for aches, pains, and relaxation. A natural purifier, because of the negative ions produced when heated, its natural frequency helps reduce the toxicity of the electromagnetic frequencies from electronics that surround us daily. Himalayan Salt is also seen to calm the nervous system and improve sleep.

Sound Therapy Massage
Specially formatted singing bowls are placed on the body, while the client remains clothed, and tapped gently with a mallet. The calming sounds and gentle vibrations induce deep relaxation similar to meditation or "just falling asleep." Based on the theory of resonance: vibration/waves interact and encourage and reinforce harmony. Session can include Sound Massage with Traditional Massage in 90 or 2 hour increments or Sound Massage alone in a 60 minute session. Research concludes sound therapy:
-
lowers blood pressure
-
shifts blood sugar levels
-
reduces pain
-
improves sleep
-
modifies the immune system
-
alters pulse rate
